I present to you the stone pine’s best friend, a superb example of symbiosis! The Mottled Nutcracker which feeds on his pine nuts, and also makes reserves of them. We are never far-sighted enough! He never consumes them all! The stone pine and this magnificent bird thus participate in the preservation of each other!
