I made this mirror in Stone pine and lime. The outer crown is in Stone pine, dovetail assembly. The maple leaf and the wolf’s head are in linden. For the finish, 4 coats of copal varnish were applied. Rope surrounds the inside and outside of the wreath. The diameter of the mirror is 50 cms.
The woodcarving patterns for the crown are my inspiration & Queyras art. For the maple leaf and the wolf’s head, nature also does very beautiful things!
The maple leaf stem is solid brass.
