I made this wall-mounted stand for Irish flutes from stone pine and ash. Flutes come in many different tones,
made of many materials, tunable or not, powerful or discreet, etc.
Initiates often own several….. The dimensions also vary greatly, from ~15 to 80 cm in length.
Storage can therefore be a bit complicated!
This stand is composed of 15 compartments containing the different tones/sizes of this magnificent instrument wich is the irish flute.
It is carved with Celtic, Viking, Queyras/Alpine art motifs, and my own inspiration. The finish here is linseed oil.
