This bedroom (bed/nightstands and bedhead set) took me almost five months to complete. The woods used are stone pine, beech, and ash.
The sculptures presented are inspired by celtic, gothic, medieval arts, Queyras art, and my inspiration. Each creation was the subject of an individual article which you can consult in the creations section.
The bedside tables have common joinery, but each has its own sculpture.
The bed here is made for a mattress 160 cm wide by 200 cm long. The height of the latter is calculated for the most comfortable seating possible. It is completely removable. Felt pens are present under the feet.
The bedhead is slightly wider than the bed itself. This is to make it easier to handle. The birth of the sculpture patterns starts just above the pillows. They therefore remain visible once the bed is made (within common pillow dimensions). The base of the bedhead allows it to be held against the wall in the absence of the bed. This eliminates the need for any drilling.
The bedside tables like the headboard have clearance at the back allowing them to go over the complaints and fit perfectly against the wall.
The finishes are wax oil for the bed and nightstands, and copal varnish for the bedhead.
